The details shown on this page are for our most popular tickets. There is a wide range of fares available to passengers joining or leaving our trains at the intermediate stations and halts not shown in the tables below. Children

All children under 3 travel FREE. All children 3 years and over require a ticket. One child under 16 years travels FREE with each adult or senior citizen paying ordinary 3rd class fare. Additional children travel at half fare.

First Class Travel

Treat yourself to a ride in the luxury of our Pullman Observation Carriage (with its magnificent panoramic window), or our Pullman Saloon 'Bodysgallen', for a variable additional charge, for example:

Caernarfon to Beddgelert - £6.00 one-way
Caernarfon to Pont Croesor* - £7.00 one-way

*Book a Caernarfon to Pont Croesor First Class Return Ticket in advance and save £2.00 on the price (Reservation fee: 50p per seat - see below)

Seat Reservations

Seat reservations are available on most journeys (from Caernarfon only). Reservations cost 50p per seat, plus the fare for your journey. You can book by phone on 01286 677018 or in person at Caernarfon Booking Office, no later than the day before you intend to travel.

Accessibility

Our normal service trains have carriages with doors suitable for standard-width wheelchairs. Our stations at Caernarfon, Rhyd Ddu and Beddgelert have ramped access routes and specially adapted toilets. Please phone in advance of your visit so we can give you more detailed advice. Copies of our access statement are available from our booking office, or here on the website.

Carriages on some trains have extra wide doors for standard width wheelchairs. Caernarfon & Rhyd Ddu Stations have ramped access routes and specially adapted toilet facilities. Dogs

Dogs are welcome and a flat fare of £2.50 applies. We regret, however, that dogs cannot be accommodated in the first-class portions of our trains.

Bicycles

Specially converted bicycle wagons will be attached to most of our trains. A flat fare of £2.50 applies. Please enquire before travelling - Telephone 01286 677018 for further information.

Group Bookings
